The Poinsetta
Ingredients
1/2 oz Cointreau or triple sec
Champagne
3 oz cranberry juice
Directions
The Poinsettia is an elegant Champagne cocktail perfect for holiday parties. Because it is easy to make, this is a wonderful choice for entertaining and celebrations any time of year. Remember that with any Champagne cocktail to mix all of the ingredients then add the Champagne just before serving.
1. Chill all of the ingredients beforehand.
2. Pour the Cointreau and cranberry juice into a chilled Champagne flute.
3. Stir well.
4. Top with Champagne.
Kir Royale
Ingredients
Iced champagne or sparkling wine
1/2 oz Creme de Cassis
Directions
1. Pour iced champagne or sparkling wine into a large chilled wine glass.
2. Add Crème de Cassis, and stir gently.
3. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
