Schlafly Pumpkin Ale brewed by Saint Louis Brewery in Maplewood, Missouri - Schlafly Pumpkin Ale pours a reddish, deep amber color with a thin cap of light tan foam. While the head of the beer might not be impressive, the aromas certainly are. The nose is chock full of aromas of pumpkin, nutmeg, butternut squash, clove, and cinnamon. The beer simply tastes fantastic. It's like drinking a ginger bread cookie. This pumpkin ale has just the right amount of sweet maltiness to offset the massive amount of spices obviously used to brew it. Absolutely a perfect beer for fall and the holiday season to come.
