Ommegang Hennepin brewed by Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY - Pours moderately opaque with a majestic light, golden hue. Aromas are of sliced apples, yeast, warm spices, and sour dough bread. Hennepin has a champagne like effervescence that's crisp yet light on the palate. A very nice mouthfeel. Flavors are very citrusy with lemon grass and tangy orange dominating the flavor profile. If you pay attention though, you can find some clove, spice, and hops beneath the surface. Overall, a great effort from Ommegang.
