I'm not sure if it has much competition, but this very well may be the best kosher beer on planet Earth. The rye double IPA pours a crisp orange, amber color with just the right amount of foam to make me happy. The nose is of candy, toffee, sweet malt, rye flour, light grapefruit, citrus, and mild hops. The light citrus aromas are especially nice to break up the heavy sweet malt presence. The flavor profile again leans heavily towards the malty side. There are notes of toffee, granola, caramel, sweet pine, tropical fruit, and a good dose of citrus hops. There's also a nice spicy rye component which really gives depth, complexity, and brings the beer together. HIghly recommended, but not necessarily for a the big time hop lovers. Nice introduction to the Double/Imperial IPA world.
