Oaked Arrogant Bastard brewed by Stone Brewing Co in Escondido, CA - This Bastard's got Wood! This version of Arrogant Bastard has been aged with oak chips. Not surprisingly this beer picks up distinctive notes of vanilla, nuttiness, smoke, and oak. The oak qualities do seem to be well rounded however and do not dominate the beer that it's trying to augment. An interesting twist on a beer that will forever live in infamy.
